At Basset Specialty'05 in June Zulu was chosen to be BEST VETERAN IN SHOW! Despite the warm weather, Zulu moved like a young girl, so excited she was to be in the ring again! This is what the judge Mr. Phil Freer (GB) though of her: Feminine bitch. Very well balanced. Good head properties, eye could be darker. Shoulder placement good. Good forechest. Good ribs. Still excellent topline. Good angles behind. Wellset tail. Sound in front, moving close behind today, but sidegait covers the ground very well.

8,5 years in April 2005: BOB, Best Veteran, GROUP FIRST, BIS-2 and BEST VETERAN IN SHOW (Group Show in Hämeenlinna for FCI 4/6 & 8), breed & group judge Paula Rekiranta and BIS judge Ritva Raita. Picture taken by Johanna Karlsson.

Zulu wins Junior Handler competition (10-13 yrs) with Madeleine Lempinen at Basset Club Specialty 21 August 2004. In the breed ring Zulu was awarded with 'Excellent' (in Champion Class) under breed specialist M. Renaud Buche from France.
