111206 Winner Show '06, judge Espen Engh (Norway): Lulu at her first show in Finland and already a Champion (BOS, CC, CACIB, Winner'06), Zulu (10 years!!) Best Veteran in Breed and 3rd Best Bitch, Toto 2nd Best Dog with CACIB, Simo Champion Class Winner and 3rd Best Dog with ReservCACIB and Tarmo 2nd in Champion Class. Very Good was awarded to Pikku-Jalo (3rd in Junior Class) and Alma (4th in Champion Class). Sulo and Eewy weren't judge's favourites this time, but next time with better luck, hey? :) Yamashta breeder group was awarded with honour prize (Best Breeder Group in Breed). Once again, I don't know how to thank enough all of you, who made the day possible and so enjoyable...!!! I also enjoyed handling Salli the Beagle, who did so nicely in the ring,but was placed 3rd with Excellent in Intermediate Class. When looking back, another succesful show year is behind us...thank you again, to all of you who have been there to make it happen!

120606 Once again, I have so many people to thank for sharing such a wonderful show weekend!!! Thank you all for your effort, patience and support, without you none of the marvellous results and happy moments would have been possible. And for those, who didn't get as nice results this time as you were hoping for....next time it may be your turn again!!! Thank you for organising such a lovely Yamashta buffet (especially Kukila family for loaning the tent) and taking patiently care of everything (special thanks to Rolle's 'Papa' Petteri at European Winner Show). I could mention you all here for so many reasons, but it would be a too long list?? :) :)
Our real Show Star Toto went to BOB at European Winner and at the Specialty he lost only to a wonderful veteran female (Morebess Gazelle de Tours), who still is an amazing 'show girl' even at 10 years of age! Willy made his first entrances to official classes, won European Junior Winner title on Friday and on Saturday became 2nd in his class after a very nice German dog. At both shows Yamashta breeder group was chosen to be the best in breed (2nd Best Group in Show at Specialty). Other results for European Winner: Sulo 3rd in Intermediate Class(VG), Rolle 3rd in Champion Class (EXC), Tarmo 2nd in Champion Class (EXC), Turelle 3rd in Open Class (VG), Alma 2nd in Champion Class (EXC) and Zulu 2nd in Veteran Class (EXC). Judge Horst Kliebenstein, Germany. Warm congratulations also to Salli the Beagle for achieving Junior Winner title under Kari Järvinen!
Other results at Specialty: Sulo 2nd in Intermediate (EXC), Tarmo Champion Class Winner and 4th Best Dog, Täplä got 'Good' and Rolle 'Very Good' (both for having too much weight on). In bitches Taru was 3rd in Intermediate Class (EXC), according the judge Alma would have won Champion Class (but became 2nd because have been fed too well also), Siiri got Excellent
and Zulu was again 2nd in Veteran Class. Judge for the day was Monica Andersson, Rainstone kennels in Sweden.
After all the success (but tiring shows) there still was one surprise waiting in my email...Fanny in Minnesota had become American Champion!!! Congratulations to all the winners!!! Now it's time for relaxing... :)

On Sunday also Sulo was shown and he got 'very good' while his niece had an amazing weekend in Canada: just about 6 months of old Vikki (Amonvhar kennels) had her first shows ever and achieved the points needed for Can Ch!!! She also took 3 Puppy Groups, 2 2nds and a 4th placement!!!! Congratulations to her owners Pat & Jackie! We also congratulate 'Paukku the Neighbour'!

Eowyn) got also nice critiques, Siiri was 2nd Best Bitch with CC and ReservCACIB while Eewy still competed in puppy class: Best Puppy in Breed! Siiri's brother Y. Crocodile Dundee 2nd Best Dog, ResCC and ResCACIB! In champion class Y. Bon Vivant got Very Good, as he also has gained some weight during the wintertime. Breed & Group judge was Harry Tast, Finland. While relatives in Finland did their own winnings, so did Fanny (Y. Elfwine) too in the States and from a show in Iowa she got a 3 point major, being the youngest PBGV entered!! Very well done all the girls, congratulations and thank you all!!!
